Training

Training is something that should never end, whether your a new comer or an old timer.

Hoodview Amateur Radio Club is committed to helping you learn.

Training takes many forms at HARC. We provide structured classes so that it becomes easy for you to pass your Technician, General, or Extra class exams. General and Technicians classes are held at Gresham City Hall (space permitting) We also have training hosted in homes to provide a more rapid response to your training needs. In addition, you will find many Elmers, people willing to pull along side, to help you learn.

The next set of classes starting soon. If you have thought about getting your 1st license or upgrading to General now is your chance. Classes are set according to demand, Contact Ed, N7TL 503 2574822,and let him know you are interested.

Extra Class Study Group

We are gathering a list of names of those amateurs that are interested in starting an extra class study group. Please contact Ed to join the list.

Technician Classes  

Classes starting soon ( March 24th) and runs for 8 weeks.  Cost is a $5  donation for handouts plus the cost of book, $24.95.  Book are available for sale at class. Classes start at 7:00pm. Contact Ed, N7TL 503 2574822  for information on the next class.

General Classes  

Classes starting soon and runs for 8 weeks.  Cost is a $5 donation for handouts plus the cost of book, $19.95.  Book are available for sale at class.  Classes start at 7:00pm. Contact Ed, N7TL 503 2574822  for information on the next class.

Code Classes  

Remember the FCC will no longer requires a CW  (Morse Code)  exam as of 2/23/07.
